Project Trust Donation

November 2020

Rise Again visiting Project Trust in Boston. Ky Anne and her team are located directly on Mass Ave. They provide HIV / HCV / STI testing and treatment, detox beds, and advocate for people both in the hospital and at recovery programs. Project Trust works directly with the population who suffers from substance use disorder and chronic homelessness. The staff work with a lot of sex workers and people who suffer from mental illness along with poly substance use. Project Trust is a smaller facility and that enables them to really form relationships with their clients and many of them have become like family.

Rise Again was able to help when it was needed more than ever. With the seasons changing and Covid hindering support, most of their clients are stuck in inappropriate clothing.

We stuffed 50 backpacks with a hoodie, couple of pairs of leggings, underwear, socks, hat, gloves, scarf, and a sleeping bag.

Our hope is that every woman that receives a backpack knows that there are people out there that care about her and she is not alone in this. A little love and support can breed hope. And with hope, anything is possible!
